I use Active/Standby nics on a number of vSwitches with Failback disabled for operational reasons, and was wondering whether there is anyway of seeing in the ESXi logs which particular vmnic is active at a given time (i know i can see the current active nic by using esxtop...), or when failover occured for a particular vSwitch (other than the physical nicx up/down messages)
I'm particular interested to see which nics are being used at boot time - Can't see anything in the sysboot.log, hostd or vpxa logs...
