I am not mixing uplinks. Sorry I was not clear. Currently have dVs composed of 2 uplinks which simply run my data vlans. They are 10gb. I then have a vss composed of another pair of 10gb for vmotion. And finally another vss composed of yet another pair if 10gb for iscsi. Mgt net is also another vss with a pair if 1gb.
Now I would like to get LLDP on the vmotion and iscsi links so I want to brink them in my dVs. So let's say for vmotion I now create uplinks3/4 on the dVs and create the vmk for vmotion, excluding the data uplinks1/2. Same thing with iscsi.
Any issues? I rather not manage multiple dVs, but just have one and simply include/exclude the appropriate uplinks.
