I'm getting a regular crash of Workstation 9.0.1.33347 ("9.0.1 build-894247") on Server 2012 (en-GB) when trying to create a new VM. It works for the first Windows VM I create. I then create a clone of that VM, and when I subsequently bring up the 'New Virtual Machine Wizard' Workstation crashes a couple of seconds later. The only way to stop it crashing is to delete %AppData%\VMware and %LocalAppData%\VMware.
The error is:
Unhandled exception at 0x74B2FD66 (vmwarebase.dll) in vmware.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000004.
Are there any log files I should attach?
