basically the way it's working right now is this.
I have a SAN that configure and share an iSCSI LUN for customer A. Inside of customer A VM, I configure iSCSI to attach to the LUN and format it. They install software like backup assist or Acronis or what ever. They back up their server to that drive. The problem I have with this is, the traffic goes over the "WAN" of vShield Edge device. I'd like something that I can offer them as a backup solution but not have traffic go over the "WAN" in doing so. I am thinking something like Acronis vmProtect installed on my hosts and then I would just include their VM's in my backup jobs. I'm just trying to figure out a good way to offer backup to vCloud customers.
