I am having the same problem with this file also. It is now 45GB and getting bigger.If I make a copy of my XPmode.vmdk file and use the Sdelete software to try and reduce the size of the file, can I the replace my original file with the new reduced in size (hopefully) one. Has anyone tried this before? I tried other methods to reduce the size with the VM tools and could not get it to work.
