Hi
I am running ESX and Vcenter v5.0. I have a windows 2008 server hosted and I want to be able to see the usb tokens and hard drive when i plug them into my laptop.
I have added a usb controller to my VM, powered it on.
When i use laptop 1, I login into vcentre through the vsphere client and I view the VM. I plug my usb token into my laptop, I am unable to connect to the token or hard drive. My laptop connects to both.
When I use use laptop 2, login into vcentre through the vsphere client and view the VM. I plug my usb token and hard drive into the laptop and the VM sees both. it takes a few minutes to see the hard drive, but it does see it.
Both laptop's are running Windows 7, one is running professional (64 bit) (the one that doesn't see the token/HD) and the other is running ultimate (32 bit). Both are running USB2 enhanced.
Any help would be really appreciated,
